 AUGMENTED SITUATIONS

Virtual Realities for Psychoeducation

These virtual reality experiences have been designed to reproduce problematic situations for patients/users, facilitating identification through specific exposure styles created to bring memories, experiences, and emotions into sharper focus. Augmented Situations is a tool that can be integrated into the practice of psychologists and/or psychotherapists, allowing them to promote experiential psychoeducation aimed at developing empathetic identification with a vulnerable person – whether that person is the subject themselves or someone close to them – aimed at experiencing or re-experiencing problematic life events in a protected context, thereby promoting a reprocessing of their emotional experiences.
